Bennie Ray McNair, 50, of Garner, was charged with larceny from Food Lion on August 18.
Stephanie Renee McBroom, 21, of Prospect Hill, was charged with embezzlement from Hudson Belk on August 19.

Thefts
Residents on Berkshire Drive reported that a suspect removed two gas containers of gas from
their property on August 12.
Police are continuing to investigate a larceny that was reported on August 12 at Fashion Avenue of New York on Fayetteville Road. A reported $350 in clothing was shoplifted from the store.
Police responded to a larceny on August 13 at a residence on Broughton Street. A Sony flat screen TV, valued at $1,000, was reportedly stolen from the home.
Management at CVS reported the theft of a 15-inch Craig TV on August 13. The case is under further investigation.
The theft of three bikes with a combined value of $700 was reported to police by a resident on Sycamore Drive on August 17.
Police are continuing to investigate a burglary that occurred on Wade Avenue on August 17. The suspect entered through a rear window causing damages of $200.
A burglary was reported at a residence on Lakeside Drive on August 18. The subject entered the home by using a pry tool to force their way into a side door. Four flat head screw drivers were reported missing. The case is under further investigation.
Items from a motor vehicle that was parked along Dartmouth Glen was reported missing on August 18. A suspect removed pain medication, a football helmet, football pads, CD's coins from the car.
A GPS unit was reported stolen from Target on Timber Drive on August 18. The case is under further investigation.
A motor vehicle theft was reported at Pinewinds Apartments on August 18. A Continental enclosed trailer and a Harvey Davidson motorcycle were reported stolen.
Residents on Foley Drive reported the theft of a Craftsman lawnmower and a weed eater on August 18.
Two IBM Thinkpads, valued at $1,550 each, and a computer backpack, were reported stolen from a vehicle on Woodland Road on August 19.
A resident on Ford Gates Drive reported someone stole a radar detector from their vehicle on August 19.
Management at Andy's on Timber Drive reported the theft of $650 on August 20. The case is under further investigation.
An attempted burglary was reported at a residence on Vandora Springs Road on August 20. Police made an arrest in the case.
A car stereo was reported stolen from a vehicle at a residence on Virginia Avenue on August 21. The case is under further investigation.

Police are continuing to investigate a burglary that occurred at Nouveau Hair Salon on August 24. Entry into the business was made through a rear window. A small amount of cash and candy were stolen but the suspect caused $600 in damages to doors and windows.
Two necklaces, with a total of $1,320, were reported stolen from a residence on Hay River Street on August 24. The case is under further investigation.
A Dell laptop computer was reported stolen from Hair Pros on Aversboro Road on August 24. Police are continuing their investigation of the larceny.
A resident of Abberly Place Apartments reported someone stole $1,600 and a Peavey guitar AMP from their vehicle on August 24.
